To be creative may seem easy but it takes courage to keep a fresh vision, to be in awe. When I went to Europe last year I took every form of transportation I could find. For fourteen days I rode trams and subways, buses, walking-I was all over it.
At first I was just looking for castles, but the more I saw the more I had to photograph everything. I plucked a grape fresh off a vine and ate it. I went to Zurich, Lyon, Munich, the Bavarian Alps, Geneva and several cities in Germany. But I started looking at people again. I took pictures like I hadn't before, with more candid shots. I caught brilliant pops of red, evening skies.
I even went into the catacombs. Shooting there with all parts of the human body sorted and laid out, it was mortifying. It blew my mind to see the end of so many human lives. However, I was also impressed with the urban renewal to save and catalog the catacombs and to even add artistry and design to remember those long buried.
I want my work to be about energy, passion, and serenity and most importantly, rebirth. I hope to inspire setting new horizons. I've overcome so much, even many heart surgeries, losses. Probably you have to. Let's go on this journey together to keep seeing, to keep seeking new horizons.
On my sit, you'll see my European collection and my Gogh Skulls collection from the catacombs. I hope you'll find a photograph or an altered image you like best that inspires you!
Or maybe you have a photo you'd like commissioned me to print for you.
